| Quality Assurance Technician |
Zattikka is committed to publishing high quality online and smartphone games and is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Technician for its central London based Development group. Reporting primarily to the Executive Producer the role will involve working with internal and external teams delivering content to the Zattikka release roster.
Responsibilities:
• Play and test game builds are various stages of their development cycle and clearly report any errors, defects or issues that may affect the quality of the software and the ability to release as a finished product.
• Take responsibility for and be an expert on all guidelines, conditions, rules, regulations and any other mandated processes required for submission of software to various hardware and software platform owners.
• Actively review and feedback on submitted products providing clear and concise information.
• Be an active game player across multiple platforms and be able to successfully assess and communicate strong and less strong game mechanics citing examples from peer products as appropriate.
• Be flexible and adaptable and work off-site from time-to-time.
• Work closely with the teams to build on and evolve the whole Quality Assurance process.
Required Skills:
• 2+ year's experience within the internet or traditional video game industry.
• Commercial experience of smartphones is an advantage.
• Experience of common bug tracking software and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment with maturity and leadership.

Zattikka is looking for a creative, skilled Flash/AS3 developers to work with a vibrant team to develop and deploy social games for a rapidly expanding network.
In addition, the company is looking to the developer to take on the design and development of an AS3 API to support external Flash based social games developers creating games for their network.

Zattikka is seeking experienced web developers who can assume responsibility for the front-end (browser) development within an exciting, rapidly growing social games company.
The company releases flash games for the web as well as iphone and blackberry games. The role requires the developer to work as a peer with the lead web designer.
Core technology skills include JSP, PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript/JQuery/YUI, along with any front-end framework experience such as Symfony, Ruby-on-rails and/or CMS knowledge such as Drupal, Joomla! etc.
The role also requires the developer to take on the implementation and ongoing development of social networking applications/sites that support the main business (e.g. Facebook, MySpace, Twitter) so a working knowledge of Facebook Connect etc. is a plus.
Awareness of good web UI design and implementation practices is of significant benefit and we expect the person to have a strong say in what needs to be done with the design of the website to make it a compelling social gaming destination.
Permanent preferred, contract considered for the right person. London based.
