Harald Ludwig - Chairman
Director and former Chairman of Lionsgate Entertainment (MV: $1.0bn) and a pioneer of LBOs in Canada through Macluan Capital Corporation, a leading mid-market private equity house, where he is President. Harald is also a founding partner and Chairman of Bond Capital Partners in the UK, an alternative investment manager focused on growth capital for step change orientated lower mid-market companies; on the Advisory Board of Tennenbaum & Company; a Director of West Fraser Timber (MV: $2.0bn); and on the Board of Governors of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Mark Opzoomer - CEO
Co-Founder of Zattikka. Previously Regional Vice President of Yahoo! Europe; interim CEO of Rambler Media Limited; Deputy CEO of Hodder Headline plc (acquired by WHSmith $300m); and Commercial Director of Sega Europe and Virgin Communications including Virgin Games. Mark is a non-executive director of UK-listed E1 Entertainment Limited (MV: $600m) and blinkx plc (MV: $350m) and was formerly a director of Autonomy Corp plc. Other relevant directorships currently include Forward Internet Group and previously Web Reservations International and Newbay Software. In addition, he is a founding partner and member of the investment committee of Bond Capital Partners.
Since 2003, Mark has been a private consultant and non-executive director on the Boards of several companies including Rambler Media Limited, Blinkx plc, Newbay Software Limited, WebReservations International Limited, Entertainment One Limited, MIVA Inc., and Autonomy Corporation plc and founded Bond Capital Partners Limited.
Prior to joining Yahoo! Europe, Mark was Deputy Chief Executive of Hodder Headline plc, and previously Commercial and Finance Director of Sega Europe Ltd and Commercial Director of Virgin Communications Ltd.
Tim Chaney - President
Co-Founder of Zattikka. Employee # 1 of 1985 start-up US Gold, which had become Europe's top publisher by 1989 and first to go public on LSE in 1992. Approached by Virgin to run Virgin Games (Virgin Interactive Entertainment) - built from 1991 $1m revenue to $200m in 3 years and equal market share to EA and sold to Blockbuster for $250m. Led an MBO of VIE from Viacom in 1998, merged with Interplay and sold controlling stake of merged Company to Titus in 1999. Led an MBO of VIE Espana from Titus in 2002 which he developed from a local distributor to an international publisher prior to setting up Zattikka in 2009.
Rob Gorle - CFO
Rob has worked in finance and metrics analysis for 16 years, with 11 years in technology and new media companies after qualifying as a chartered accountant with PwC. Most recently he was 7 years at Yahoo!, in both Europe(4) and the California headquarters(3), and prior to that at Mediasurface, the venture capital backed software company (bought by Alterian). Rob has a computer science background.
